2008 YOUTH WRITING CONTEST

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

 

Gibson Girl Publishing Company (GGPC) will accept submissions for its 2008 Youth Writing Contest from April 15 to May 15, 2008, in two categories: Fiction and Poetry. TRENDZ, a youth leadership organization, is this year’s co-sponsor and will help judge the contest.

 

Contest Guidelines:

1. The contest is open to youth ages 16 to 21 years old.

2. No entry fee.

3. Fiction word limit: 500 words or less.

4. Poetry line limit: 20 lines maximum.

5. Must be original and unpublished.

6. One submission per person.

7. Youth under the age of 18 must have their parent’s or guardian’s consent to participate in the contest.

8. Authors retain all rights to their stories.

Gibson Girl Publishing Company reserves the right to edit entries.
